The Garden
Grandpa, it feels like a lifetime ago when you were here with me. I remember these mornings vividly though. Waking up to see you in the garden, and coming outside to see you planting. I was in awe of your dedication. The pesky animals would devour your vegetables and we would check the cages to see if we caught any. Taking the possums and other animals to the mountains to let them run free was the best. I always enjoyed our car rides together, and watching the animals run into the wilderness.... far away from your garden :) Love you and miss you dearly.

Buttered Toast
Grandma, it has been 5 years since Cheyenne passed away. She was our favorite dog, and she loved you very much. I remember this moment, running around in the snow and getting my face covered in it. The best part was coming back in the house, only to be greeted by your classic buttered toast. One for me, and one for Cheyenne. I think she enjoyed it more than I did, if that's possible. You are greatly missed. Love you.

Letter to Dad
I've always been a person to keep my feelings locked up, never letting my guard down, and never showing weakness, but this will be a great place to open up a little, to reflect on not only the things that I miss, but also the things that I am truly grateful for... Like your amazing little grandson you will never get to meet, he lights up Gaby and my world, has a contagious smile and is like the energizer bunny, always moving and constantly exploring uncharted territory! I will make sure he knows what a wonderful person you were.I keep your picture on my desk, I look to it often for inspiration and for guidance. Wish you were here to be part of my life, to celebrate all the amazing times, to be there for support during all the difficult times and to be there to mentor me during all the confusing times. Tom and I are still looking over mom, she has been fighting cancer for some five years now, but she is a tough woman and a fighter as you know. Miss you, wish you were here. I know you would still be my number one fan today, just like you were when I was a child.. Love You and miss you Dad.

On November 16, 2019 your great grandson was born. I wish you were there to see it in person. He is a great boy, I know you would have loved him more than any of us... haha. If he was here I would ask you to show him how to ride the mattress down the stairs. We love you and miss you, great grandma. <3
